Qualifications: *Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master\'s degree program in Nursing. BSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 5 years of hire. *Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota *CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers *Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques *Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing *Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team *Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family members and co-workers Our benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement. Additional Information: Our state of the art Birth Center was built in 2020. Featuring 160,000 square feet - 13 Labor and Delivery rooms, 2 operating rooms, 24 Postpartum rooms, and 7 NICU rooms. Our Level 2 NICU features 7 private rooms including 1 twin room for a total of 8beds, each with an adjoining family space and bathroom to keep families connected. Regions Hospital is one of the few hospitals in the country to feature the Enhanced Couplet Care model. 5 of our Postpartum rooms are outfitted with a full NICU headwall, allowing a subset of our NICU babies to stay in the Postpartum room with their familiesand avoid separation. This evidence-based model of care provides many benefits including improved weight gain, more effective feedings, and fewer hospital readmissions. The Birth Center at Regions has approximately 2800 births annually with 15-20% of babies requiring some amount of NICU-level care.
