Randstad has partnered with a thriving metal finishing company in the Twin Cities! We're searching for a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our plating and anodizing equipment runs smoothly. You'll work independently and collaboratively to keep our facility and machinery in top condition.
Responsibilities:
Repair mechanical & electrical systems (pumps, motors, boilers, etc.)
Install and maintain new equipment
Fabricate and weld fixtures for production jobs
Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment calibrations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with Operations to ensure safe equipment operation
Report to management on activities and issues
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
Experience with similar equipment a plus (boilers, PLCs, chemicals)
Knowledge of general maintenance practices
strong problem-solving and manual dexterity
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Positive and reliable work ethic

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities
Repair mechanical, and electrical systems as requested (bearings, electrical
motors, up to 5 HP pumps, water filter systems, RO water systems, rectifiers,
fans, low pressure boilers, hoists, forklifts, etc.)
Correctly layout, mount and assemble PVC, steel and stainless ½” to 2”
piping for incoming water, waste water, steam, condensate and compressed
air.
Layout and fabricate steel and stainless steel welded fixtures for various
production jobs and equipment mounts.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning and
availability of equipment, as requested
Perform equipment calibrations to specifications
Work autonomously and responsibly with little supervision or as part of a
team while following all safety guidelines
Conduct general building upkeep procedures (carpentry, painting, etc.)
Work diligently along with Operations teams to ensure all equipment is
tested and working in a safe and proper manner
Report to management on activities and issues
Other duties and responsibilities as requested and needed
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
