Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a GIS Data Architect for a contract position with our client in St. Paul, MN

We are seeking a skilled GIS Database Architect to join our team. As a GIS Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining GIS databases to support spatial data management and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database design, and spatial data management. Specific responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the GIS data environment for enterprise data.

• Redesigning and optimizing existing GIS databases

• Creating, implementing, and documenting data standards

• Managing Esri ArcGIS Enterprise GIS Databases within the SQL Server environment.

• Develop data models and database schemas to support spatial data analysis and visualization.

• Optimize database performance for spatial queries and data processing tasks.

• Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate database solutions.

• Perform data quality assurance and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of spatial data.

• Document database designs, data models, and data workflows for reference and training purposes.
