The Ayres MEP Division is seeking to hire a full-time Electrical Engineer. You’ll be working with a great group of people on a diverse variety of projects. As a new employee, you won’t just work anonymously on a conveyor belt of projects. Instead, you’ll interact project managers and other design staff that have forged long-term relationships with clients. You’ll be rewarded with flexible scheduling including work from home options. On any given day, you’ll:
Model buildings using Revit family of tools.
Perform power, lighting, and systems design.
Run energy calculations using ComCheck and EnergyPro.
Run site lighting photometric calculations.
Run power distribution analysis using SKM PowerTools
May be called upon to complete 2D drafting using AutoCAD tools.
Coordinate electrical design with the mechanical and architectural team.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis on electrical.
Desired skills and experiences:
2-5 years of related engineering experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer
Strong modeling skills.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
Experience with SKM PowerTools, Visual, ComCheck, EnergyPro
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
