Overview: Conducts the contract approval/contract issue process for all annuity applications and incoming direct rollovers, 1035 exchanges and direct transfers, and immediate annuities including review of application to determine if plan, contract and legal requirements are met. Verifies appropriate signatures and forms are completed according to state requirements. Responsibilities including but not limited to: Review all applications and determine if plan, contract and legal requirements are met. Contact financial professionals regarding missing or clarification of information provided on annuity applications. Answer questions from financial professionals and internal sales team via our support line. Complete data entry of all application information into multiple administration systems. Maintain and manage all pending/follow-up cases on incoming business and communicate status to financial professionals. Apply funds associated with annuity contracts. Work independently to prioritize work items effectively to meet service standards and client needs. Work on special projects and provide backup to other associates as needed. Identify, recommend and implement changes to procedures and checklists to improve effectiveness, efficiency and quality. Qualifications: Ability to learn all plan and contract details and provide service that excels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong data entry skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team oriented environment. Ability to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of annuity products, processes and procedures. Physical Job Requirements: Ability to work at least 40 hours per week. Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to utilize phone for approximately 2-4 hours per day. Ability to perform simple grasping including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout entire workday. Be you. With us.
