Position Summary The Audiology Clinic Assistant works closely with Children's audiologists to accomplish the work of the Audiology Clinic, including providing assistance to the audiologists and administrative support to the clinic. The role will perform insurance related work, including prior authorizations; maintaining clinic records on hearing aids, earmolds, equipment repairs, equipment inventory and supply maintenance; and, after appropriate training and under the guidance of an audiologist, may assist with patient care. * High school diploma or GED. * Prefer one year experience in an audiology or ENT office. * Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening and problem solving skills. * Strong keyboard/computer experience. * Must be able to organize time and prioritize numerous duties within strict deadlines. * Must be able to deal with numerous interruptions. * Must be able to deal with customers in a caring and respectful manner. * Must be detailed oriented. The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs.
