Children's Home&Lutheran Social Serviceof MNhave a long history ofproviding care and finding families for children. As a Post Adoption Worker you willprovide comprehensive, nondirective/nonjudgmental post adoption services and supports to adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents. You willbe responsible for a caseload of adoptee, adoptive family, and birth family clients who are connected to Children's Home&Lutheran Social Serviceof MNvia International and Domestic adoption. Services vary from birth family searches and outreach to document requests from adoption record, and many services in-between. As a part of the Post Adoption team, you will be involved in the agency's connection with adoptees and their families through education and support groups and engage in program development tasks as assigned. There will be times when you will need to be in our St. Paul office. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor'sDegree requiredinsocialwork or other human services related field.Master's degreein social work and/or relevant work experience preferred. Musthavestrongorganizationalskills, abilitytomultitask and casemanage,andkeepdocumentation up todate. Flexibility to work some nights and weekends in order to best support families andkids.
