Regions Hospital Administrative Assistant - Nursing in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Nursing Administration team to support the daily operations and activities of the inpatient nursing department and provides administrative support to department leaders. This position is responsible for: Providing clerical support for the Directors, Managers, and Educators in the Nursing Department. Organizes, coordinates, and maintains accurate retention and distribution of information for the nursing department. Orders supplies and equipment for nursing directors, managers, supervisors and educators. Prepares payment for related bills. Establishes and maintains excellent working and collaborative relationships with other departments and throughout the organization. Maintains competency and keeps up-to-date on administrative, computer and clerical knowledge and skills. Work Schedule: 0.80 FTE (32 hours/week). Monday-Friday; no weekends. Salary Range: $21.69/hour - $32.54/hour, with a median hourly rate of $27.11/hour. Compensation is dependent on relevant work experience, education, licensure & internal equity. Minimum Qualifications: Four years of clerical experience, including two years working in administrative functions or equivalent. High School Diploma Ability to establish and maintain accurate data and files Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
