World Wide Technology Test Automation Software Technical Mentor in St. Louis, United States

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

Work Experience

  • Extensive (8+ years) of software development and/or quality engineering.

  • 5+ years of hands-on test automation

  • 3+ years of recent experience working as a consultant or leading consulting projects

  • 3+ years of pre-sales support, including SOW creation

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to lead teams effectively both in person and virtually

  • Proven ability to mentor team members in the areas of agile software development, test automation, business outcomes, and consulting skills

  • Top-notch written and verbal business communication skills, tailored and appropriately detailed for all levels of the organization. Verbal communication must be effortlessly understood in the American business environment

  • Excellent leadership skills, including knowing when to lead and when to let others lead.

  • A proven understanding of agile development processes with the ability to influence translating those processes into action on a Project Team

  • High degree of emotional intelligence, including personal and business integrity

  • Enable effective automation of tests throughout the development process

  • Ability to evaluate effectiveness of test automation tools

Working conditions (if needed)

WWT and many of our clients are working remotely and business travel is restricted for the foreseeable future. To be effective in this role and in these conditions, you will need:

· Dedicated space to work, that is presentable on video conference camera.

· Reliable high-speed internet service that can support hosting video conferencing meetings and screen sharing.

· WWT laptops and monitors will be provided.

WWT understands that co-located teams deliver superior results. Candidates in the St. Louis metro area will be expected to work the majority of time from our downtown St. Louis office, when not travelling on customer assignment.

WWT’s office spaces are designed to enable Agile team collaboration in an open floor plan with portable furniture.

Travel requirements: Up to 75% travel to support clients across North America.
