Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a CRNA to join our Anesthesia team! Position Summary: Come join our incredible team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) at Methodist Hospital! With 21 operating room suites and performing 30-40 surgical cases per day, we provide anesthesia for many surgical specialties including Cardiothoracic, Eye, Urology, Plastics, Podiatric, Vascular, Neuro, General, Bariatric, Orthopedic, GI, OB/GYN, GYN/Oncology, and Gynecology cases. Our hospital provides variety and a fast-paced environment that will challenge you in your practice as a CRNA. At Park Nicollet, CRNAs work in collaboration with our anesthesiologists and are valued, empowered and a respected part of the team. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) has the responsibility to administer safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician. The CRNA will provide resuscitation services throughout the hospital. The CRNA will demonstrate an awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and will participate in attaining those goals. Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE Various shifts Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota. Certification by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or Board eligible if new hire. Fulfill credentialing requirements. This position requires credentialing, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines. Effective communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Graduate from a School of Nursing and from a School of Anesthesia. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in anesthesia or related-field preferred. Participates in one's professional organization (desirable).
