Responsibilities:
Analysis and Preparation of Excel invoices.
New Vendor Set-ups, may include New Vendor Processing
Ability to research, proactively follow-up, and problem-solve when dealing with account management issues.
Invoice Processing,PNET – Invoice Matching, and PO Requisitions.
Account Problem Resolution and Reconciliation.
Provides general support services to the accounting and finance department
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDor equivalent experienceis required; Associate's Degree in Accountingor equivalent experience preferred
1-3 years associated work experience or combination of education and work experience
Analytical and Research Skills
Strong prioritization skills
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment

Position Summary
The AP Specialist is responsible for accurate, complete, and timely Accounts Payable processes and functions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
AP Specialist
Invoice Processing
Analysis and Preparation of Excel invoices.
New Vendor Set ups, may include New Vendor Processing
Ability to research, proactively follow-up, and problem-solve when dealing with account management issues.
PNET – Invoice Matching and PO Requisitions.
Account Problem Resolution and Reconciliation.
Provides general support services to the accounting and finance department

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required) High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
(Preferred) Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Accounting
- 1-3 years associated work experience or combination of education and work experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
Analytical and research Skills

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures

Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
