[Summary Description: The Senior IP Specialist provides complex administrative support within the Intellectual Property practice group. This individual works directly with clients to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded while balancing attorney administrative support.   1. Independently corresponds with clients, inventors and licensing and patent managers
  2. Reviews, prioritizes and manages daily dockets to include client dockets for validation of due dates, workload and tracking; provides reports in specialized client-required formatting
  3. Submits patents and other required filings to the USPTO office, which includes preparation, formatting, document review and analysis, and communication with team and clients regarding due dates and status
  4. Responsible for ensuring all requirements are met to meet USPTO's filing expectations, including securing signatures and critical documents from clients
  5. Solely responsible for administration of assigned client(s), including tracking all client team correspondence, client inboxes, maintaining templates and generating documents
  6. Prepares and files Information Disclosure Statements ("IDS"), conducts prior art searches, and maintains IDS databases for cross referencing of prior art
  7. Prepares competitive bid requests for new applications and patentability assessment reports
  8. Prepares and uploads Task Order Requests for Quotes ("TORFQs") for domestic and foreign patent prosecution work
  9. Drafts formal reporting letters, quarterly invoice progress reports, and annuity payment reports to clients; maintains detailed client portal of all required documentation
  10. Maintains client files (both paper and electronic), invoice spreadsheets and task order spreadsheets; organizes and files documents in designated order; completes electronic scanning
  11. Conducts accounting tasks, including processing expenses, reimbursements, invoices, pre-bills, and entering time into the Firm's time and billing system, reviewing of billing statements, and editing same for preparation of final billing
