Location/Division-Specific Information

St. Louis, Missouri; PSG – Biologics

How will you make an impact?

Serve with moderate supervision to perform day-to-day operations within the Logistics group to include, all material and equipment receipts, as well as, movements to support site operations. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts, while using SAP to maintain material controls. Efficiently maintain warehouse space while ensuring safety and compliance are met.

Expectaions for this role:

  • Ensure materials, supplies, and miscellaneous receipts are received, processed, documented, and maintained in accordance with standard operating procedures, including the handling of temperature-controlled and hazardous materials.

  • Clean in materials and equipment to support a continuous flow in the Production process. Stock gowning and empty trash from suites, general housekeeping daily.

  • Review Kanban cards and inventory levels.

  • Perform cycle and inventory counts as needed.

  • Maintain cGMP compliance to include labeling, FEFO, documentation, cleaning, etc.

  • Maintain cross-training between Logistics teams.

  • Keep current on all required training.

  • Coordinate hazardous waste and materials for disposal with EH&S support. Clean empty containers for recycling.

  • Support packing of product and non-routine shipments

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

  • 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment

  • Solid PC knowledge

  • Strong communication skills

  • Forklift experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Position requires mobility between buildings

  • Ability to adhere to aseptic behaviors

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Equipment/machinery/tools used may include forklifts, pallet jack, drum dolly, barrel hoist, strapping machine, and company vehicles
