• The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
The EO Case Mgmt/Self Assurance Team Lead will be a Subject Matter Expert/team lead responsible for assisting with team member audits, serving as an escalation point for team members/managers, creating and distributing metrics/reports, creating and performing self-assurance reviews for the department.
Supports management in the day-to-day supervision of a team of licensed professionals. Duties may include: managing daily pipeline, providing guidance to resolve complex issues; training and coaching staff; managing daily schedules; providing work direction to team members; acting as a back-up to manager; providing input into team member performance; assisting in employment decisions and setting performance standards; actively recommending process/policy improvements; suggesting methods to improve customer satisfaction; participating in special projects as assigned.

8+ years of experience in one or more of the following environments: customer or investor-facing, disputes, claims, fraud resolution, brokerage operations, client account supervision, or risk
Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
1+ year of brokerage industry experience
Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback to staff
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
1+ year of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
Experience performing quality assurance audits
Other Desired Qualifications
- Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex issues
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.
