Job Overview

Perform work on various types of electronic and electromechanical equipment by performing one or more of the following: fabrication, assembly, modification, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

A Day In The Life

· Perform and develop functional test based on procedures including complete report documentation for each test.

· Perform compliance tests based on procedures including complete report documentation for each test.

· Specific functional responsibilities are assigned and reviewed annually.

· Other duties as required by the Director Engineering Lab & Product Test

What will help you thrive in this role?

a. Two year Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree/certificate or equivalent experience.

b. Prototype fabrication. Assembly and integration.

o Fabricate and assemble electronic equipment including surface mount components in accordance with engineering sketches or drawings.

· Environmental and Functional Tests

o Set up and perform environmental, functional and product qualification test in accordance with prepared procedures, standard test methods and/or instructions from engineers.

o Use engineering laboratory instruments and facilities in support of testing activities.

o Troubleshoot and repair equipment and maintain facilities.

o Maintain accurate and complete records of all test activities in accordance
