Akima Customer Technical Support Representative IV in St Louis, Missouri

Responsibilities
Provide Tier I and II technical software, hardware and network problem resolution for clients by performing problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
May provide expertise to solve first and second tier technical support issues for end-users of the organization's products and services.
Resolve problems or contacts more senior technical support as necessary.
Use automated information systems to analyze routine situations.
Support users by fulfilling individual requests for information and/or training in the utilization of the various databases available.
Receive and process end user calls, emails and portal request; enter required data in to ticketing system.
Interact with other team members, such as network services, software engineering, and/or applications development to restore services and/or identify and correct the core problem.
Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Qualifications
Dod 8570 baseline IAT Level II certification (Security+ preferred).
Must have a DoD Secret security clearance.
High school diploma and 3 years of relevant IT experience.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
Experience with ticketing systems.
Experience maintaining configuration management data and documentation.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving network hardware and software problems.
This Hybrid position requires applicants to be within 1.5 - 2 hours commute from St. Louis, Missouri.
Desired Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university.
