Job Title: Assembler

Location: Olivette, MO

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.64

Position Type: Full-Time, Union

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Assemblers with hands-on experience in assembling conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, as well as interpreting blueprints and working with drive shafts and motors. This position will work on the 2nd shift and play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow directions, read blueprints, and interpret schematics for assembly processes.

Set up and change equipment to operate various assemblies or features.

Utilize appropriate materials and effectively plumb or pipe pneumatics and hydraulic lines.

Affix motors and gearboxes to drive components and ensure proper fit and function.

Inspect parts using precision measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and protractors.

Accurately log assembly times and ensure documentation is up-to-date.

Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.

Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other lift assist tools.

Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Required:

Ability to meet physical demands (standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, lifting up to 40 lbs).

Computer literacy.

Preferred:

3+ years of industrial assembly experience.

1+ year of industrial assembly experience.

Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to troubleshoot and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using hand tools and other assembly equipment.

Additional Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is a plus.

Technical education is a plus.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively and report progress on assignments.
