Salary: $79,200 - 80,190, Bonus eligible

Purpose of the Role

EverGrain is part of the Biotech Division of Anheuser-Busch InBev whose purpose is to make products that are more sustainable, healthier, and taste better. The business was launched in 2019 and features patented new technology that repurposes brewer’s grain – barley – to produce plant protein ingredients.

If you are interested in leading a team of highly skilled operator technicians, continuous improvement in context of a world class production environment, hands-on innovation creating a new upcycled product, and building relationships at the international and multi-department level between our facility, the Saint Louis Brewery and the Global Biotech team, then our Business Process Manager (BPM) role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong safety ownership that leads by example. Promotes and encourages safe working practices through training, coaching, and driving accountability and a territorial mindset within the team.

  • QA and Food Safety culture, cementing a foundation of policy internalization, documentation, and the management of all 5S and PRP routines.

  • Manage highly automated, complex processes, and developing technologies in a fast-paced high-energy environment, moving at the speed of consumer and product demand to drive operational efficiencies, ultimately improving cost, yield, and volume.

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure product quality, financial stewardship, and process performance excellence.

  • Lead and coach teams through problem solving, built on the development, tracking, and analysis of key performance and process indicators by utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology.

  • Building out our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and the routine and relationship of our internal and external contract partners, ensuring long-term maintenance and fabric health.

  • Work with senior leaders, and our EverGrain Sales and Marketing departments to drive process improvement initiatives and commercialization change efforts.

  • Front-facing leadership role supervising operators on rotating shifts, building and executing training plans, onboarding, staffing, overall engagement, and the incorporation of developing standards.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in engineering, supply chain management, food science, or related subject area is strongly preferred.

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts required (days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends).

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example in a fast-paced production environment, preference of minimum of 3 years experience.

  • High comfort level with change, along with strong influencing and communication skills, catalyzing others to change.

  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.

  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Curiosity and drive built around a passion for our product’s societal impact potential and opportunity for growth.

  • Able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
