job summary:

Application Engineer for a highly regarded Electrical manufacturing company. This position is responsible to provide support to customers and group personnel for Power Systems Group products.

This is a direct hire opportunity.

This position can work from a remote home office. Expected travel up to 50%.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree

• Experience with gensets, AVR, generator and/or control systems

• Minimum two (2) years of experience as an application engineer within a related power/control systems field

• Travel up to 50%

Preferred:

• Experience serving the Power Generation, Paralleling Switchgear, Utility T&D or Industrial Power markets

responsibilities:

• Present products to customers by providing technical expertise through the different phases of the sales process.

• Recommend products to meet the customer's needs through feature-benefit selling.

• Perform customer onsite application assessment and product configuration support for power systems

• Take a lead role in developing and presenting formalized seminars at customer locations and industry events.

• Provide detailed market feedback directly to Product Line Managers for use in productdevelopment, sales collateral and product roadmap planning.
