Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client's team on a temporary-to-hire basis for a 4-6 month assignment. This position has become available due to an expansion of operations and offers the possibility of converting to a permanent role. You will be working onsite and closely with the CFO, providing valuable support during this critical period.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Day-to-Day Accounting Functions:

Maintain accurate and complete general ledgers.

Process incoming and outgoing payments, including biweekly payroll.

Reconcile accounts monthly and manage expense reimbursements.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work with the Development department on pledge payments, grant applications, payments, and financial reporting.

Collaborate with Finance and Facilities departments to create the annual budget.

Support the Employment Agency team with its daily financial tasks.

Respond to auditor requests and assist with data gathering for external stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.

Experience:

5-7+ years in finance or accounting roles.

Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus.

Skills:

Strong expertise in QuickBooks.

Understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and nonprofit financial management.

High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Work Hours: Full-time position, standard business hours.

Duration: 4-6 months with the possibility of converting to a permanent role.

Onsite work required.

• Experience in Audit Prep
