Zoll Medical Corporation Business Development Manager – Trauma Solutions in St. Leonards, Australia

This position is responsible for developing strategy, implementation and delivery of ZOLL’s System Of Care for Trauma focused products and solutions to the Australian and New Zealand markets. The position is responsible for sales and key account management for select customers within sales channels including EMS, Military, Air Retrieval and Private Paramedic Organisations.

Purpose of the Job

This position is responsible for developing strategy, implementation and delivery of ZOLL’s System Of Care for Trauma focused products and solutions to the Australian and New Zealand markets. The position is responsible for sales and key account management for select customers within sales channels including EMS, Military, Air Retrieval and Private Paramedic Organisations. Successful implementation will lead to a point where these products may be supported by sales teams who report to the BDM Trauma Solutions.

This position will report to the Managing Director, ZOLL Australia / New Zealand, and will also work closely with sales managers, product and marketing experts in Australia, Asia and the US for these products and solutions.

Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management

  • Manage, strategy, sales and account management including:

  • Delivery of exceptional sales results.

  • Management of customers, business partner and defence systems integrators’ product related questions.

  • Setting strategy for Trauma focused products/solutions, and executing strategies to develop the business across the ANZ region.

  • Working with the Hospital, Public Safety, EMS & Military sales teams to implement strategies for Trauma solutions.

Product/Solution Support

  • Liaise with ANZ, JAPAC and Global product and marketing experts to develop and execute a go to market strategy for ZOLL’s Trauma related products and clinical applications.

  • Create, Build and Develop relationships with KOL’s for these products/solutions.

  • Establishing Clinical trials and solution evaluations where appropriate.

  • Develop long term partnerships with relevant Industry bodies and associations.

  • Develop a sales team to support these products and deliver outstanding customer, patient and business outcomes.

Market Knowledge

  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of those sectors in the market relative to the company’s business to ensure the company’s products achieve their maximum potential.

  • Detailed understanding of how Australia and New Zealand Health operates and is funded, including the nuances of state and New Zealand based service delivery in trauma response and healthcare.

  • Understanding of relevant channels and potential partnership in the government and non-government sector including defence procurement and the use of systems integrators.

  • Understand Industry bodies and how partnerships can help grow market share.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years working in the Healthcare industry.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medicine, Nursing or Science.

  • Experience as a Paramedic in a Civilian or Military capacity will be highly regarded.

  • Have established high level relationships with Government and Private Sector Health.

  • Experienced in sales and bringing new products/solutions/applications to market.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Flexible.

  • Creative.

  • People management skills.
