Robert Half Project Manager in St. Cloud, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in the construction/contractor industry based in Minnesota. The role involves organizing and maintaining a communications calendar, collaborating with internal clients and staff, and leading corporate communications initiatives. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain a Corporate Communications calendar that includes daily, weekly, and monthly priorities

• Collaborate with internal clients and department staff to ensure project resources, deliverables, and outcomes are clearly identified and organized

• Partner with leadership to assess team capacity, tools, processes, and performance regularly

• Provide visibility to project progress, obstacles, and challenges using performance metrics

• Ensure department processes and procedures are documented, up-to-date, and accessible to team members and clients

• Lead highly visible, cross-functional Corporate Communications initiatives

• Define project scope with input from functional leaders and manage project management tools and practices

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and subject matter experts

• Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changes and focus on simplicity

• Identify opportunities to streamline work and reduce waste

Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience working as a Project Manager in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in using CRM software and project management tools such as HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suites, and Asana.

• Demonstrable experience in project management and team leadership.

• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project execution.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent decision-making skills.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in managing budgeting and scheduling for construction projects.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.

• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards within the construction industry.

• A professional certification in Project Management (PMP) would be a plus.

• Ability to travel as needed for projects.
