Th Facilities Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper operation, safety, and functionality of buildings, facilities, and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and upkeep to create a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, visitors, and occupants.
HOURS
- The Facilities Maintenance Specialist opportunity offers work/life balance with a Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM core schedule with an occasional requirement outside of the core hours.

Have a valid driver's license
Have basic carpentry skills
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
Have the ability to anticipate situations, evaluate problems and create solutions with a confident and logical approach.
Will have strong overall interpersonal skills including; oral, written and listening.
OPPORTUNITY
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will....
Perform routine inspections around buildings and grounds and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Repair and maintain or replace electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems as well as lights, locks, plumbing, and faucets.
Perform basic carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, and walls.
Assemble, erect, and reconfigure office and systems furniture on a small project basis.
Run low voltage wiring through systems furniture.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in systems furniture.
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems.
Respond to repair requests and work orders, coordinating with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Maintain the exterior of the facility, including landscaping and parking areas.
Clear snow, ice, and debris from walkways and parking lots occasionally during inclement weather.
Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
Maintain inventory keeping an organized stock of supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
Track and document maintenance repairs and inspections and keep accurate logs for compliance purposes.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations, such as leaks, power outages, and equipment failures, taking appropriate actions to minimize downtime.
