Nike SR PMO EXTRUSION in St. Charles, Missouri

What you bring:

  • 1+ year of experience as an Extrusion PMO, more years preferred

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 3+ years' experience within a manufacturing, military, or a technical trade

  • Experience within a plastics manufacturing environment

  • Machine set-up and troubleshooting experience

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Remove molds and tooling weighing between 30 to 70 lbs. with assistance.

  • Utilize torque wrenches and various other hand tools while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

  • Calculate basic math problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, using fractions and decimals and an understanding of weight and measurement

  • Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and at 20 feet or more

  • Identify and distinguish product clarity and apparent defects while monitoring the product process

  • Knowledge of general manufacturing principles of mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics

  • Experience working in a team environment to meet production goals

  • Proven track record to prioritize multiple requests and challenging priorities in order to meet production timelines.

Who we are looking for:

As a Sr Plastics Machine Operator (SR PMO), you'll provide technical assistance and support needed to operate machinery within Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation. The primary process this role will be supporting is Extrusion, but some knowledge of other processes is preferred.

Shifts Available:

A Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-5:30pm (weekday days)

B Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:3pm- 5:30am (weekday nights)

C Shift: Friday- Sunday 5:30am- 5:30pm (weekend days)

D Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:30pm-5:30am (weekend nights)

What you will work on:

  • Setting up, running, and adjusting manufacturing equipment per specialized standards.

  • Filling out production documentation.

  • Manage raw material inventory.

  • Managing the mixing and blending of raw material components.

  • Organize finished goods' packaging.

  • Conduct the grinding of production scrap.

  • Supporting Lean Manufacturing principles.

Who you will be working with:

In this role, you will collaborate with partners from engineering, maintenance, and support departments to provide technical support related to the extrusion process and production. You also will actively connect with the supervisors, production, and your teammates on any issues or opportunities that may arise. Our Senior Manufacturing Technician will train production machine operators on the accurate way to run and troubleshoot our extrusion processes as well as collect data, document work, and summarize results. You will coordinate trials and sample runs to test new product designs and processes while also creating SWI for existing and new processes.
