Maintenance Mechanic

Nestle USA in Springville, UT is Seeking motivated Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to join our team. Responsible for Supporting TPM in the factory and the use of PM systems. Performing final assemblies, preflight and repairs on all equipment.

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts with built-in overtime and 7 days off in a row per month

• Starting hourly pay of $26-$35/hour, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Gains knowledge on all basic production equipment in the plant.

  • Maintain accurate, precise records where required. This to include equipment logs, communication logs, P.M. sheets, job orders, etc.

  • Anticipates problems and takes corrective action prior to equipment failure.

  • Performs basic mechanic adjustments.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years of prior Industrial mechanical experience required

  • or 2-year Technical Degree in Maintenance field such as Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, or related area of study AND 1 year of prior experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.

  • Basic computer experience required.

  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems.

  • Must be willing to work days or nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Lifting requirements exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently.

Skills:

  • Show basic knowledge of lubrication, fasteners, and correct use of tools.

  • Show ability to operate and assemble equipment, make adjustments and minor repairs.

  • TPM experience preferred.

  • Leadership experience preferred.
