Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies currently has an opening for Mid-Level Systems Engineer, you will work with the technical team to identify issues with production operational systems in a secure environment and implement those solutions.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of leading-edge technologies that deliver mission-critical solutions for our customers. In this role you will perform technical planning, concept of operations definition, requirements elicitation and derivation, and analyses throughout the system development lifecycle. In addition, you will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition in a model-based system engineering environment..

Essential Functions:
Strengthen our in-place Specialized IT team in handling technical issues with secure advanced KVM and video display systems in an operations environment
Develop, assess, and maintain CONOPs and interface control documents from customer / product requirements
Support full system development lifecycle including conceptualizing, designing, procuring, building, test, installation, operations, maintenance and disposal
Interact with senior program managers and customers to define approaches and strategies
Lead trade studies to identify solutions which meet requirements
Provide guidance to development teams at internal and external gate reviews such as technical baseline reviews and design reviews
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Ensure the logical and systemic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions which meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Up to 10% travel may be required
This position is on-site with no remote work

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Current TS/SCI with CI Poly Security Clearance or above
Current Security+ CE or equivalent
Preferred Additional Skills:
Desktop and server troubleshooting experience
Audio Visual / KVM experience
Strong problem solving skills
Experience using Microsoft Office products
Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
Windows and Linux experience (troubleshooting, configuring, building, securing)
