BAE Systems Imagery Intelligence Trainer in Springfield, Virginia

Job Description

BAE Systems has an opening for an outgoing multi-INT analyst (Image Analyst/GEOINT analyst) familiar with image exploitation and collection, and Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) methods, who is comfortable teaching, briefing and providing constructive feedback to team mates and developers. The primary task for this position is training in a classified environment; however, IA/GA analysis skills are required, as are reliability and dependability.

The successful candidate will focus on utilizing exploitation systems and analytic methods in a team based environment. Successful candidate will be a creative, out-of-the-box systems thinker who can develop or contribute to specialized training courses/methods, and can deliver them to users across the IC. Candidate must have training experience related to concepts of multi-INT data integration, i.e.: SIGINT, IMINT, and space-based assets and collection platforms.

Major responsibilities:

Supporting an advanced analysis cell with on-site training and analytic augmentation.

Assisting team members in developing and delivering curriculum for cutting edge intelligence systems and tradecraft.

Attending software developer meetings to provide analytical input and perspectives.

Documenting and delivering user inputs, feedback, and enhancement requests to the development team.

Attending contract/team meetings for up to date mission priorities, developments and timelines.

Understanding and documenting user needs and lessons learned for the training team.

Developing concepts for self-performance metrics/ratings and training program performance metric/ratings, and process improvement implementation.

Documenting the tradecraft to produce new products and implementing this in teaching/training.

Providing subject matter expertise in support of software demonstrations with the analytical perspective that supports the engineering achievements.

Providing on-site training of mission-specific methods and exploitation capabilities for multiple customer sites.

Assisting analysts in data curation/preparation. For example; may spend time creating watch boxes for intelligence tipping.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required:

The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, extroverted, comfortable teaching and communicating, team oriented, able to comprehend, assimilate and apply new material and concepts quickly with minimal direction to complete tasks.

Must possess a minimum of four years experience working directly with GEOINT analysis within the Intelligence Community or DoD.

Previous work experience in a classified environment as an Imagery Analyst or GEOINT/Geo-spatial Analyst.

Current TS level clearance.

Experienced analyst with an Imagery Analyst, Geo-spatial analyst, GIS or all-source background; in addition to producing intelligence for customers, and providing training for small groups of users with diverse work roles.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Certified trainer or significantprevioustraining experience.

Proficient in utilizing advanced geospatial and all-source intelligence applications to support analytical efforts and product development: CEDALION, Electronic Light Table (ELT) software, ArcGIS, SOM tools, Black Wolf, and web-based training tools (Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro).

Working knowledge of web-based training content/materials creation and delivery for distance learning.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
