Job Description:

Location: Springfield, VA

Clearance Needed: TS/SCI

Are you ready to apply your knowledge of warfighting functions to design cutting edge AI/ML technologies? Imagine yourself advising the government on cutting-edge prototype designs to deploy AI algorithms onto tactical edge hardware platforms. Parsons is a hiring an AI/ML subject matter expert to work closely with our National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) client in Springfield, VA.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Serve as the embedded AI/ML Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise the client on concepts of operations (CONOPs) and design implementations of how to deploy AI algorithms onto warfighter platforms

  • Assess market solutions for best fit into a prototype design and/or engage with engineering teams to ensure integration is aligned with the government’s requirements

  • Report on-site with the government customer daily and work with the Project Lead to advise and coordinate resources toward reaching project milestones

  • Address risk, associated mitigation measures, and lessons learned throughout the prototyping process

  • Coordinate with and support a geographically-dispersed workforce based out of mission partner liaison sites

  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required (10-20%)

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI & CI Poly eligibility required

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

  • 10+ years’ relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (will consider additional experience in lieu of degree)

  • Experience with the NGA customer’s requirements captured in at least two of the following: ISR, geospatial intelligence, data analysis and mission planning

  • Demonstrated understanding of the customer network in one or more of the following: NGA, US Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM), US Marine Corps, and/or Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)

  • Background in developing or integrating AI/ML technologies into operational environments

  • Understanding of software, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts

  • 10+ years diversified experience in DoD programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, in order to articulate customer requirements effectively

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical or Business degree preferred

  • Ability to translate mission requirements into technical requirements for action by engineering staff

  • Experience with data aggregation and coding

  • Previous experience working with multiple IC partners

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, inspire trust, and establish and sustain credibility with the client and associated partners

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
