Cabela's Regional Sales Coordinator in Springfield, United States


The Regional Sales Coordinator serves as a dealer liaison to promote healthy business relationships between our dealer network and White River Marine Group. This is a highly visible position that requires the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment while engaging dealership principals, White River leadership and manufacturing plant leadership. A high level of professionalism and rational independence is required. Overall objective is to promote compliance with White River Sales Program by product fulfillment and sales order attainment.


  • Decides how orders get processed by redirecting inventory and reprioritizing orders as necessary.

  • Uses logic to determine sales order allocation and shipping priority.

  • Directs and reallocates product based on customer needs/demand.

  • Serves at the dealer’s primary point of contact handling complaints and resolving issues.

  • Monitors and manages the product flow, from order entry to the point of shipping.

  • Understands the mechanics of the business model including our product stocking and replenishment system to achieve budget attainment.

  • Provides recommendations and information to leadership as requested.

  • Utilizes all available reporting tools including excel spreadsheets, supplier partner websites, business operating systems and intelligence software.

  • Enters, scrutinizes and expedites dealer orders.

  • Maintains accuracy in all business processes.

  • Handles a large volume of email and phone communication in a timely fashion monitoring product order status.

  • Responds to dealer/business needs from home as needed.

  • Conducts and participates in dealer conferences, training and shows.



  • Minimum Degree Required: High School

  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's degree


  • Must have a working knowledge of other colleague departments to swiftly align business needs on a regular basis

  • Must be flexible and capable to take on additional projects

  • General Understanding of the Boating Industry

  • Associate must be detailed in handling retail sold custom orders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Seeks to provide world class customer service in all daily encounters

  • Professional demeanor and appearance

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, KBM/AS400 Business Software functionality

  • Driven, takes initiative and ownership with assigned region and projects

  • Must work well and closely with other Regional Sales Coordinators


  • Some Travel may be required up to 10%


  • Regular computer work, and sitting

  • Occasional walking, standing, and lifting


  • Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
