Cabela's Jr Digital Creative Designer in Springfield, United States
Position Summary:
Bass Pro Junior Digital Creative Designer position will be responsible for supporting in the development of engaging creative for Bass Pro digital channels that include but are not limited to homepages, emails, site assets, social media, and additional site projects. This role calls for individual talent and strong initiative, combined with a very collaborative design approach. The candidate should have experience knowledge of the digital space, excellent concepting and problem-solving skills, the ability to present work and take critical feedback. The Junior Digital Creative Designer works with team members to coordinate web projects and follow-up on work to ensure deadlines are met. The successful candidate must be able to provide an online portfolio that displays a strong sense of design knowledge, typography, layout, use of color, and photography.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Creative Design
Assisting in design execution of promotional creative (homepages, emails, paid social and display ads)
Collaborate in the development of digital concepts for multiple digital channels
Design within the established brand aesthetic for consistent look and feel (layout, typography, color, and graphics)
Assist in the preparation of necessary mock-ups/prototypes for creative reviews
Keep up to date with ongoing digital trends and best practices
Assisting in Creative Execution
Working with HTML and CSS within internal content management systems (CMS)
Executing and leveraging existing creative for additional site/display and email assets
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required : Associate Degree in Web design, Graphic design or related field
Preferred Degree : Bachelor’s Degree in Web design, Graphic design or related field
Certificate(s) or License(s) :
Experience : 0 – 1 years
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Passion for digital design with strong attention to details
In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and AEM)
Front-end coding knowledge (HTML & CSS), JavaScript nice to have but not required
Strong eye for digital design (layout, typography, color, iconography, and imagery selection)
Design within established brand style guides
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Knowledge of responsive web design and best practices
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to take creative direction and receive feedback in a positive manner
Must have a team-first mentality
