Job Summary and Qualifications

As the CT Lead, you will coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the CT department, ensuring efficient workflow, timely patient care, and high-quality imaging. You will work closely with Radiologists and the Clinical Coordinator to maintain clear communication and address any issues that arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for training new employees, maintaining department supplies and budget, and ensuring a safe work environment. Your leadership will guide the team, promote teamwork, and uphold confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Coordinate and supervise daily CT operations, reporting unresolved issues to the Clinical Coordinator.

• Ensure timely patient throughput in the CT department.

• Maintain clear communication with Radiologists and the Clinical Coordinator.

• Perform all CT procedures efficiently, ensuring high-quality images.

• Order and manage supplies within budget parameters.

• Train and orient new employees, reporting progress to the Clinical Coordinator.

• Ensure a safe work environment for employees and patients, reporting incidents as necessary.

• Lead by example and maintain a professional demeanor.

• Ensure staff members receive breaks and lunches in a timely manner.

• Promote teamwork within the department and the hospital.

• Participate in PI plans specific to Radiology and ensure proper equipment maintenance.

• Oversee accurate documentation of procedures.

• Maintain department productivity and act as Lead Technologist in the Clinical Coordinator's absence.

• Manage software applications in an administrative role.

• Ensure consistent workflow, delegate tasks, and adjust staffing as needed.

• Maintain logs and accurate records for the CT department.

• Assist the Clinical Coordinator with employee evaluations.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Current registration ARRT

• Computer Tomography certification required

• Current BLS certification (or obtained 30 days from hire)

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
