Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant for a short term contract employment opportunity, based in Springfield, Oregon. The primary function of this role is to updating the chart of accounts. This industry-specific role involves a significant amount of account reconciliation, general ledger keeping, and journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Update the chart of accounts

• Undertake account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Maintain the general ledger and make necessary adjustments

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis

• Review and update records for the current fiscal year and the prior two fiscal years

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• The candidate should possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, enabling them to effectively manage the company's financial records.

• Proficiency in managing the General Ledger is required, as it is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records.

• The candidate must be adept at preparing and managing Journal Entries, a key aspect of the company's financial operations.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must, as it is a primary tool used for financial analysis and reporting.

• Experience with ERP is necessary, as it is one of the main tools used for our company's financial management.

• The candidate should have a deep understanding of the Chart of Accounts
