WorkSource Oregon Parts Runner / Operations Support in Springfield, Oregon

We are currently looking to add a Parts Runner to our team! The Parts Runner/Operations Support role is fundamental to our organization\'s efficiency, focusing on the coordination of operations between our headquarters in Springfield and field locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. This position encompasses tasks such as part deliveries, equipment support, and fleet management assistance, all crucial components of our operational success. Hours & Pay: \$20.00 to \$23.00 per hour, depending on experience. Full benefit package. This is a full-time position. Schedule will vary depending on parts delivery and distribution needs. Job Requirements: - Minimum age: 18 years old. - Valid Oregon driver\'s license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs. - Travel: Comfortable with travel and extended periods of driving, with the potential for overnight hotel stays on occasion. - Successful background check through the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to screen felony records as appropriate in compliance with federal government restriction. - To pass Pre-employment drug test and physical. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use. - Positive attitude and quick learner. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Self-motivated; works well independently. - Flexible and adaptable to changing demands. Physical Requirements: - Carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling loads weighing up to 50 pounds. - Sitting for long periods of time while commuting. - To lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Job Duties: - Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Receive and process part requests accurately and efficiently. - Retrieve requested parts from designated locations within the headquarters. - Safely transport parts to field locations using company vehicle, ensure timely and accurate deliveries. - Flagging: Assist in the Pickup and Delivery of Equipment - Collaborate with the Transfer team to assist in the pickup and delivery of equipment as required. - Follows flagging procedures and safety protocols to ensure the safe loading and unloading of equipment. - Coordinate with various departments and individuals to facilitate the timely receipt and distribution of parts. - Communicate effectively with Fleet Manager, mechanics, receiving personnel, and Equipment Operators to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth operations. - Provide regular updates on parts deliveries and respond promptly to inquiries regarding delivery schedules. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles used for job duties. - Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels a
