Ready to join a mission-driven healthcare team and explore the vibrant Pacific Northwest? PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our growing team.
This is a night shift position, scheduled Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (0.9 FTE--three-12 hour shifts). Shift differential and weekend differential are available!
In this fulfilling role, you'll play a vital role in patient care:
Perform all routine and specialized CT procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
Operate CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and perform quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
Apply ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.
Perform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.
Provide patient education and instruction prior to and after examination. Provide training/education to staff and students as indicated.

Competitive Salary: The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $45.42 – $67.85. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program required.
Minimum of one year previous experience is preferred.
Demonstrated venipuncture competency
PACS/RIS knowledge is required.
ARRT (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required unless applicant holds the advanced ARRT (CT) credential through an Advanced Nuclear Medicine (NM) credential pathway instead of the Advanced ARRT (R) pathway. This pathway would not require the new hire to need the ARRT (R) credential.
Advanced CT certification is required within 1 year of hire.
Permanent (OBMI) (RT) licensure with Permanent (OBMI) CT OR Temporary (OBMI) CT Licensure Certification is required upon hire.
Permanent (OBMI) CT Licensure is required within 1 year of hire OR at the expiration of the last Temporary CT (OBMI) License.
Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
