General Function

Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required. The ability to work with minimal supervision is required. The ability to learn and follow complex procedures and detailed policies is required. Keyboarding skills are required. Experience in the use of a CRM software is preferred.

Description of Primary Duties

Supports the recruitment efforts of the University by assisting with the campus visit program, including large scale recruitment events, daily tours, and group visits. Understands the importance of the visit and contributes to providing outstanding service to prospective students, families, and external partners. Coordinates training and schedule management of student employees. Assists with visit inquiries, scheduling, logistics, and planning. Generates reports using CRM ; proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Facilitates a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds. Assists with other Office of Admissions functions as assigned.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.

Additional Qualifications

Frequent desk work is required. The position requires extended time at a computer station and utilization of information displayed on a computer monitor.

Special Instructions to Applicants

Seeking someone who can work at least four days a week to total 20 hours a week. This position requires two working Saturday mornings each year – one during the fall semester and one during the spring semester.
