SHIFT: Monday-Friday. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

REPORTS TO: Loan Administration Manager

SUMMARY

The position of Loan Administration Assistant is responsible for performing routine loan administration duties related to consumer and business loans, processes consumer, commercial and real estate advances on lines of credit, boards loans (new and renewed) on the Banks CORE system and loan documentation system, may distribute daily and monthly reports, and promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and providing excellent customer service to both external customers and internal customers.

Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Assist with uploading / reviewing new and renewed loans on the banks CORE system.

May sort and distribute daily and monthly loan reports to applicable branches or departments.

Post loan payments, research and correct errors related to incorrect payment posting.

Processes consumer, commercial and real estate advances.

Review the scan checklist for missing or incomplete documents.

Set up and maintain credit and other files for documentation and compliance, vehicle liens and / or UCC filings.

Answers the telephone, responds to routine loan officer or customer inquiries relative to account balances, loan balances and payoff requests.

Assists loan officers and other personnel to ensure proper related documentation is prepared and/or provided.

May close paid loans and terminate collateral when applicable.

Corrects loan accounting system errors as necessary.

May process various loan reports and callbacks.

Provides effective customer service and assists in resolving problems within given authority.

Calculates loan pay off amounts for certain types of loans.

Operates SilverLake CORE system to process loan activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority.

Helps maintain digital loan files, copies, and other documents.

Additional duties may be assigned, depending on need.

Help develop and implement paper and electronic records retention policies where applicable, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and specifications.
