Acadia Healthcare Acute Staffing Coordinator in Springfield, Missouri

Lakeland began solely providing psychiatric services in 1989 and has grown into a 206-bed facility, with patients from across the United States.

In this role you are responsible for creating and maintaining the staff schedule to needs of the acute facility according to established guidelines. Experience working with MS Office, Excel and Outlook a must as you will provide administrative support to the nurse managers. Must be able to work evenings, nights and weekends based on the staffing needs.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Monitor census, staffing, scheduled admissions and discharges (minimum twice daily) to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift.• Prepare bi-weekly staffing schedule and communicate issues to appropriate staff.• Amend staffing schedule as requested and/or necessary to provide quality care.• Responsible for finding coverage for all Behavioral Health Associates time-off requests and call-outs.• Responsible for tracking absenteeism as assigned.• Coordinate staffing for program transports, as needed.• Provide administrative support, as needed.• Calculate lateness, Daily FTE and weekend shift reports (bi-weekly) and distribute to leaders as assigned.• Work with HR and payroll teams to resolve paycheck issues, as needed.• Attend staffing meetings, as needed.
