Will process paperwork to support the shipping department to ensure on time shipments and order processing to the customer.
Principle Responsibilities
Will prepare shipping documents including packing lists, invoices, and shipping labels for domestic and international shipments.
Will confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages.
Will ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
Must be a team player.
Must be safety conscious, quality minded, have good work habits and attendance.
Calls trucking companies (carriers) for pick-ups
Will use computer to track product, line up truck carriers, process freight claims, etc.
Helps answer incoming phone calls
Must be willing to work overtime.
Must be flexible in the department and help wherever needed, possibly in other departments.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
