Aerobond Composites LLC Layup Technician in Springfield, Massachusetts
Layup Technician Aerobond Composites, located in Springfield MA, is currently recruiting for the Layup Technician position. Aerobond Composites is a manufacturer of precision components and complex assemblies for the aerospace industry. Under minimum supervision, the Layup Technician performs hand layup of advanced composite aircraft components on complex tooling (molds) following specific work instructions. The Layup Technician will work with a variety of materials (including carbon and fiberglass cloths), utilize a variety of hand layup techniques and would also utilize a laser projection system to assist with the layup operation. The Layup Technician may also be required to prepare tooling (molds) for the layup process and prepare the component for autoclave or oven cure by applying a vacuum bag. And should be able to adhere to clean room protocols and dress requirements. Procedure and work instruction training: Layup and clean room related procedures presented as general and all-hands training.
