In this position...

  • Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic environment, supporting the development, builds and racing of cutting edge powertrains around the world.

What you'll do...

  • Managing the procurement of powertrain components and hardware from both internal Ford sources as well as external suppliers to support builds and the racing of engine, driveline and xEV systems

  • Creation and submission of all necessary paperwork for the issuance of purchase orders

  • Work with engineering and suppliers to ensure delivered components meet all required quality and engineering specifications

  • Packaging, scheduling and tracking of shipments containing powertrain related goods to locations around the world

  • Financial tracking and management of powertrain related activities in regards to both accounts receivable and accounts payable

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business related field

  • Strong communication skills and competency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Strong overall knowledge of vehicle and powertrain functions

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and capabilities (machining, fabrication, casting, etc)

  • Ability to support the packaging of goods (lift and box components) when necessary

  • Even better, you may have...

  • 5+ years of experience in motorsports, the automotive industry or powertrain related field

  • Experience with logistics within the global supply chain (freight handlers, customs, etc)

  • Experience with accounting software (Excel, Quickbooks, etc)

  • Strong team player, with ability to interact across functions, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with high responsibility

  • Possess a competitive spirit, and interest in professional motorsports.

  • International and Domestic travel may be required.
