Summary:
Works to improve patient access, using best practices for the patient throughput process and maximum reimbursement by forecasting and analyzing staffing models, payor behaviors and growth opportunities. Oversees multiple areas and develops strategic plans, policies, and procedures to achieve goals/outcomes. Responsible for the oversight of the DHS employees on campus and oversees the Medicaid Eligibility process to ensure DHS and organization standards are met. Takes ownership of key planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to improve financial performance.

Description
Plans, implements, evaluates and reports strategic improvement activities and is responsible for strategic goals and outcome. Provides administrative direction and collaborates in planning, operationalizing, and evaluating assigned area(s).
Actively engages in activities to enhance the patient experience, including encouragement of the patient satisfaction survey.
Analyzes, organizes, and evaluates data and recommends changes to optimize financial performance. Compiles accurate data and prepares forecast and trend analysis in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders. Coordinates and supports leadership in developing annual operating budgets and staffing needs.
Manages and coordinates the development, implementation, evaluation and follow-up on quality improvement processes and special projects as assigned within established timeframes.
Responsible for the first impression of Arkansas Children’s. Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of registration, follow up, financial counseling, prior-authorization, and outside PCP referral processes; Performs intermediate functions relative to scheduling and registration for outpatient clinics including complete and accurate demographic and insurance information.
Responsible for compliance with all policies.
Manages the Insurance Premium Payment Program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
