American Battery Solutions has a full-time opening for a Production Operator Lead in Springboro, Ohio. 3rd shift 11 pm to 7:30 am Job Summary Lead the operators to assemble and produce products to meet customer requirements and expectations. The Lead is responsible for overseeing, conducting and training operators on hands-on assembly, debugging, and verification of modules and battery pack systems. The production operator lead is charged with leading operators in the launch and assembly of new products. Responsibilities * Assembly products to customer requirements and company goals * Adhere to corporate, federal, and state employment policies * Lead by example to adhere to company rules and policies. * Perform collection of downtime and production records for OEE * Assign operators to workstations with rotation during shift. * Lead inventory of manufacturing area * Maintain a safe and clean working environment * Perform Preventive maintenance activities to support TPM * Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining the TPM system * Support MRO Planner with daily activities * Adhere to and support compliance to ergonomic guidelines * Participate when required in PFMEA and work instruction reviews * Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.) * Assist with specification development for machinery and equipment. * Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and policies * Support weekend and off-shift work as required * Other duties as assigned * Predictable and reliable attendance Position Qualifications * A high school diploma or GED is required. * Preferred manufacturing experience * Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001or IATF 16949 * Adhere to all company policies and rules. * Able to work in a team environment Key Competencies * Continual Improvement: Displays a consistent orientation toward producing the highest quality products or services, while keeping a focus on sustainability.
