Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project Manager for one of our clients to join their team in Spring, Tx. The team is responsible for all Software Engineering related work to their Commercial product, including Thin Client work. This person will be responsible for managing 3 project simultaneously which includes the create of all internally derived Windows based applications, Independent Software Vendor (ISV) management with vendors such as Citrix, Vmware, Amzong, etc and lastly working on their Linux based Thin Client development. He or she will be responsible for planning roadmaps, conducting Scrum meetings, communicating and collaborating with internal stakeholders, development teams and external vendors. The TPM will have a technical aptitude to be able to communicate both technically to all development teams as well as translating technical jargon to non technical individuals. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, works well independently, is a problem solver and is looking to learn and grow in their career. This role is onsite hybrid 2-3 days a week so the candidate must be willing to commute to Spring, TX during those days and the hourly pay ranges from $34/hr to $40/hr depending on experience and feedback from customer.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager managing multiple technical projects at a time

Technical aptitude including - understanding on the various Linux distributions, knowledge of Linux jargon, and various software's development experience from either college or other projects

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to both internal and external teams

Experience work in a SDLC Agile methodology environment

Ability to work independently and proactively

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills PMI certificate

Previous HP, Dell, or competitor experience null
