Job Description

An employer is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect in the Spring/Woodlands, TX area. This role will fall under the Information Management Systems organization reporting into the Director of Enterprise Architecture. This person will be responsible for creating solutions and roadmaps for multiple different systems, applications, and projects across the business, some relating to Azure architecture and some on-premise. This person will be expected to look at the projects, apps, and systems in scope to determine what makes the most sense for the business, propose cost, and advise on best practices and technical solutions from an architecture perspective. This role is a hybrid role, reporting onsite Tues-Thurs and option to work remotely Monday and Friday.

This role is paying between 100 - 120/hr. depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture with a focus on both on-prem and Azure principles/best practices

Experience working in an Enterprise level environment as an individual contributor

Experience troubleshooting and solutioning complex systems, fine-tuning and making strategic architecture upgrades to existing systems

Understanding of software architecture best practices

Hands on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions

Experience in DevOps practices and processes Enterprise Architect experience (COBIT or TOGAF) null
