Job Description

An employer is seeking a Soldering Rework Technician to join their lab in Spring, TX. He or she will be joining the Commercial Architecture team and will be helping in soldering various POC's as requested by any Engineer/Architect within the organization. The Soldering Technician will receive a request from the engineers and will be responsible to ensure their concept is even doable and if it will then take the given system, solder per the request, confirm that everything works and communicate findings with the engineer or team members. He or she will utilize Surface Mount soldering to achieve the design and will be working with resistors as small as 0201. The Soldering Technician should be able to understand PCB layout charts and how they correlate with schematics. This role will be onsite 3-4 days a week in Spring, TX and pay will range from $27-$30/hr based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Surface Mount Soldering experience

Ability to read PCB layout charts and schematics

Experience with small BGA Chips in regards to surface mount soldering

Hands on experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters for soldering

Must be able to solder on resistors as small as 0201 with the biggest resistor being 0805 Experience soldering on tablets, computers, phones null
