Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Radiology Technologist ASC II in Spring, Texas

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a qualified provider, the Radiology Technologist working in surgery and Pain Management will utilize portable

radiographic equipment to include C-arms producing ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes

according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Kelsey-Seybold

Clinic. This position will provide radiographic support, room setup, and will utilize the designated Radiology Information System

(RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS). May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience, and credentials are deemed adequate by the supervisor to perform those duties

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $ 57,050 - $70,480 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology

Preferred: Associates in Applied Science-Radiology Technology

Experience

Required: Minimum of 3-years’ imaging experience

OR

2 years of KSC experience in the OR, Pain management and/or interventional radiography.

Preferred: Greater than 3-years’ cumulative experience in surgery, pain management and/or interventional

Radiography.

ARRT Interventional Radiography

PACS and RIS experience

License(s)

Required: ARRT(R)

MRT-General Certificate

BCLS certification.

Preferred: N/A

Special Skills

Required: Experience using Microsoft Office.

Preferred: N/A

Other

Required: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Must be able to effectively communicate and take direction from physician(s) to facilitate room throughput

and optimal physician and OR efficiency.

Preferred: Bi-lingual or multi-lingual
