Job Summary
The North America commercial organization (CO) has a number of go to market teams and business functions that are responsible for all of the commercial activities of HP. This role is an intermediate level in the central North America CO office, covering all of the CO teams and functions to ensure that strategy, programs and initiatives are delivering value to our customers.
You will need a solid program management capability, strong planning processes, presentation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization from our executives to our IC's.
Additionally, you would lead the tracking of various strategic growth initiatives for the market, ensuring revenue and margin targets are being met and overall spend is on budget. As well as program management of many internal and external activities from external customer/partner planning through to large cross functional events.
This role provides a unique opportunity to understand the NA CO market as a whole and support the North America COS in an intermediate position to better serve our customers across US and Canada.
Responsibilities
Ensures that the NA Managing Director effectively engages external customers and partners.
Leads the program management of many CO wide programs including Presidents Club, Amplify, Sales Leadership Kickoffs/Senior Leadership Meetings (SLK/SLM) and others
Responsible for tracking and monitoring of growth initiatives for North America.
Acts as the focal point for the North America Chief of Staff team members.
Develops recommendations from complex data and business analysis and formulates them into business plans.
Drives the construction of financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance.
Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.
Maintains business continuity planning and processes for North America.
Ensures that the North America records and retention processes for any business initiatives are being followed.
Supports the creation of North America wide reporting documents for stakeholders across the ELT.
Leads highly complex, time-sensitive market research projects and identifies compelling trends and opportunities for North America COS and business leaders.
Leads cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities typically with L3 and L4 leaders in the organization.
Drives all aspects of priority projects; develops business plans and proactively identifies new opportunities and partners with client business leaders.
Develops and drives comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.
Counsels business leaders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions.
Develops and executes forward-thinking strategies for building and nurturing long-term business relationships.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 5+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $104,000 to $149,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
