Aerotek 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Spring Lake, Michigan

Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech to join our team. The candidate will initially train on the first shift for six months from 7am to 3pm, which is mandatory. Once training is complete, the position will transition to the 2nd shift. The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for repairing and performing preventive maintenance (PM) on various machines, including CNC lathes and mills, Hydromat machines, screw machines, grinding machines, a couple of Fanuc robots, and a few assembly cell machines. This role requires a proactive individual eager to learn and be trained.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and perform preventive maintenance on CNC lathes, mills, Hydromat machines, screw machines, grinding machines, Fanuc robots, and assembly cell machines.

  • Conduct manual machining and fabrication as needed to make parts for fixtures on CNC machines.

  • Operate hi-lo and overhead crane to relocate machines within the facility.

  • Utilize maintenance tool room equipment effectively.

  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work culture.

Essential Skills

  • 3 years of maintenance machine repair on industrial equipment

  • 1 year of CNC machine repair experience

  • Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge

  • Valid driver's license

  • Willingness to work as a team

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman certification is a plus

  • Strong CNC machine repair experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
