The QCL Technology team in partnership with the JJT Global Supply Chain organization has responsibility for delivery of an IT product portfolio that supports a variety of key Quality and Compliance products and provides outstanding customer experience across multiple channels within J&J Innovative Medicine (IM). Working with IT Head of Technology (HoT), Technical Product Owners (TPOs) and business partners, this role will have the responsibility of building/advancing IM’s digital strategies. This role will report into IM HoT for QCL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support vision, align/prioritize business & IT strategies and co-shape strategic demand in collaboration with IM Quality business partners and HoT. Responsibilities also include clearly articulating financial and other benefits for strategic investments.

  • Translate IM Quality vision, strategies and customer needs to product groups, engage Product Group Leaders (PGLs) to innovate and build solutions to meet IM Quality needs.

  • Unite Quality products into cohesive end-to-end digital business strategies and solutions for IM Quality function.

  • Co-drive continuous improvement and seek opportunities for business process improvement through technology, data, and automation in collaboration with the HoT.

  • Define and actively measure the value being created and delivered to IM Quality partners. Define, refine and measure objectives and key results (OKRs) on a regular cadence.

  • Co-create business cases with business partners, supporting socialization and secure funding for IM Quality programs.

  • Support HoT on financial planning cycles (BP, LRFP)

  • Leverage knowledge of Quality and broader ecosystem to drive identification / implementation of emerging products based on Quality long-term needs.

  • Maintain relationships with key business partners in Quality & Compliance, Labs, External Quality, and Enterprise Quality.

  • Define annual objectives and outcomes informed by business and technology for IM Quality.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or other relevant field

  • At least 8 years of proven experience in a Life Science’s Quality function, preferably within IT.

  • Proven experience within the Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Lab systems.

  • Strong experience in collaborating with the business in developing business cases including financial analysis

  • Demonstrable experience in building Quality strategies that meet organizational G&Os

  • Demonstrable financial skills in defining and tracking value realization for investments

  • Functional understanding of Quality IT products and their relevance within the product ecosystem

  • Ability to translate business vision strategies to product groups for generation of relevant backlog

  • Strong understanding of GxP principles

  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Agile delivery concepts

  • Understanding of Supply chain workflows and products

  • Strong IT technical background

Other:

  • Role may require up to 20% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
