DESCRIPTION OF WORK You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment. This work is performed in the electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and masonry trades. Some of your duties will include rough and finish carpentry; preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces; and installing and repairing various fixtures, including sinks and faucets. You will also install and replace electrical panels, circuits, and lighting fixtures; repair air conditioning and heating equipment; mow grass and remove snow; and repair concrete and masonry. Your duties will require you to operate and maintain both manual and power tools of the trade on a regular basis. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (7.50 hours/day; 37.5 hours/week) Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, working every other weekend, with 30-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement: You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience in commercial carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC trades Experience in commercial and structural maintenance of buildings and equipment Experience working with 3-phase wiring to include emergency generators, Automatic Transfer Switches, switch gears and 3-phase panels Experience working with domestic hot water mixing valves, recirculating loops, aqua stats, and instantaneous water heaters Experience with the provisions of Life Safety Codes and Uniform Construction Code (UCC), as it relates to repairs of buildings Experience in the maintenance and repair of building at a long term care facility

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
